A musical activist,
Soloist, chamber musician, leader, and concertmaster, as well as conductor, artistic director, and pedagogue, Andrea plays on historic and modern instruments, and her repertoire and interests are as diverse as her activity. She feels equally at home in the repertoire spanning from early and traditional music to contemporary music, improvisation, and jazz. She continuously develops her enthusiastically curious spirit, writes music, articles, and essays, explores, and always aspires to learn and know more.
Andrea was an Artist in Residence of different international festivals and organizations, created two international festivals of her own with over 100 original artistic concepts/concerts, and is dedicated to engaging and socially relevant work. Her programs are diverse and progressive, always connected to a theme and a concept, inviting the audiences to actively participate, learn, open their minds and hearts, engage, and enjoy the whole process of music-making and creation.
She wholeheartedly shares all her activities, passion, and knowledge with audiences of all backgrounds worldwide, educating new generations of artists and creating platforms for their presentation and development. Her concerts, original programs, artistic leadership, music lessons, and career development coaching are available for booking. We are looking forward to creating together!
