WISE: Wien – International Soloists Ensemble was initiated in 2013 as a flexible chamber music (pierrot) ensemble of established, young and idealistic musicians from all over the Globe. Determined to push the boundaries of classical music and bring it closer to the broadest audience possible, its repertoire spans over five centuries, in formations ranging from the smallest possible ensemble all the way to chamber orchestra. Andrea is its founder, leader, general and artistic director. She is curating the annual concert season and festival in Vienna, as well as the tours and ensemble’s further domestic and international engagements.

Based in Vienna - Wien - the city of classical music, WISE cherishes the strong connection to city’s long musical tradition, but also engages in finding and breathing life into new exciting works, concepts and projects. International members of WISE come from all corners of the globe, as we believe that through great musicianship we easily connect, cooperate and create beauty with one another, no matter what our geographical, cultural or social background is. All members of WISE take pride in having reached the Soloist level individually, nurturing each their own personal careers and projects. When we come together, through the beauty of chamber music, the egotism of individuality (although it remains present) is put behind solidarity and harmony. Because Ensemble means together, at the same time. And we are continuously working on the ability to fully understand the music and each other, playing in the absolute harmony. Striving to create innovative and engaging interpretations that will touch the listener, make them think, open them new perspectives, and maybe even inspire.
